Nigerian Muslims for Equity and Good Governance (NIMEGG) has been calling on the Federal Government to officially call the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to order.
Nigerian Muslims are not afraid of directly confronting CAN; we are only considering how unpalatable the outcome might be. Therefore, reasonable elders in CAN should drum it into the ears of their leadership that it is in their enlightened self-interest to put an end to their insensitivity and tactlessness.
Is it appropriate for bishops and pastors to convert their worshipping periods to the times of politically attacking Islam and Muslims devoid of any semblance of shame?
Be told that NIMEGG is less concerned about Tinubu or Shettima.
However, we will not keep quiet anymore as long as Ahmed and Kashim are still part of their names.
Are the names of terrorists, fanatics and extremists not there in the Christian directory, or why is it that when Muslims defend against the CAN propaganda activities, they will be breaking into the air, falsely describing Muslims with all sorts of undeserving appellations, in a manner much worse than that of the kettle calling the pot black.
Your propaganda of labelling Muslims falsely is no more effective because you have gotten to its saturation, Mallam Abu Abdullah reiterated.
Nigerians were previously not aware of any cases of kidnapping-for-ransome until it was started by the Christians in the Southeast and Southsouth; yet, Christians are not tagged terrorists.
Armed robbery became rampant among the Christians-dominated South; yet, Christians are not dubbed armed robbers.
Internet scams (i.e. “yahoo-yahoo 419” frauds), international peddling in narcotics (“hard drugs”), baby factories, trans-national prostitution and ritualistic killings have been popular among the Christians-dominated South for a long time; yet, nobody tagged it against their religion.
We clearly remember, few years ago, when some Bishops and Pastors visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo to beg him to forgive Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDP as the 2019 general election approached; those Bishops and Pastors were not alleged to be fake. But, CAN now has the effrontery to label those Bishops and Pastors who attended Tinubu’s official unveiling of his Vice-Presidential running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, as fake.
It has apparently been made crystal clear now by the empirical evidence on ground, that CAN is an unregistered but vociferous group working covertly and overtly for the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).
Anyway, the formation of the Nigerian Muslims for Equity and Good Governance (NIMEGG) across the country is to officially demand for and insist on equity and good governance.
We hereby declare our unalloyed appreciation to those fair-minded Christians who are progressive minds, and who are in total support of equity and good governance; these are Christians that spend their days and nights working for how Nigeria will survive and be prosperous.
However, Islam and Muslims have been receiving the short end of the stick within Nigeria, following Machiavellian manipulation by a set of political gangs coming together under a religious body for several decades, mostly in the South.
The Muslims give Almighty Allah all the glory; it is stated in the Holy Qur’aan that Almighty Allaah is always fully guiding and protecting His religion by Himself without which, the efforts and the courage of those gangs would have made significant negative impact on the lives of Nigerian Muslims and Islam.
We recall few years ago, when the private jet of the President of CAN was involved in illegal arms deal in South Africa at a time when nobody knew how Nigerian terrorists were getting arms and ammunition with which they were killing, maiming and destroying innocent Nigerians and destruction of their properties. The leadership of CAN ran to Aso villa, and the President of the day could neither sleep nor relax until they swept that dirty deal under the carpet because of the calibre of the renowned Christian leader involved.
Is it because the media in Nigeria is populated by the Christians or what?
This time around, NIMEGG as a National Islamic rescue body is fully out to expose all your battles against Nigeria and Nigerian Muslims.
If you claim albeit feebly that the CAN President at that time was not involved in Boko Haram sponsorship, then we need to know how IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra), ESN (Eastern Security Network) and all other non-state actors constituting security threats in the Southeast and beyond are getting their arms and ammunition from.
This 2023, we will all have to be sensible and reasonable enough to realize that Tinubu/Shettima is Almighty God’s project, which is therefore beyond any politically designed devilish scripts.
It is a big error for any Muslim to be considering these bigotries as a normal part of any responsible ethnic group leader; many of these so-called ethnic group leaders are religious bigots, if not, they can never be part of responsible or reliable leaders to an enlightened ethnic group like the Yorubas, where Muslims are in the majority. Such leaders are only gentle in the face; but, nobody detests Muslims and Islam like they do, all for no just cause.
The Muslim-Muslim ticket is not their main problem; their major problem is that the Southern Muslims must remain second class citizens in the Southern part of the country.
Be informed that the most dangerous Christians in Nigeria are the Yoruba Christian leaders. Muslims must urgently realize that they dislike Islam and Muslims.
They called all their spiritual elements to pray against Tinubu not to win the APC Presidential primary ticket; but, the Almighty God is too holy to grant the undeserving prayers of a heartless set of people like them. This time around, the Almighty God will cripple them completely, by His grace.
