As soon as This Prof was announced as the 11th UNILORIN VC designate,some mentally polarized,, unilaterally minded christian bigots cum haters quickly, inhesitantly with disdain, challenged the decision of UNILORIN to have another muslim VC,even to the point of asking ‘are there no competent christian professors in UNILORIN’?
Is it not on records that the first 5 consecutive UNILORIN VCs were christians?As stupid and Infuriating as this poser is, I will also take my time to ask any concerned christian the following questions cum posers;;
Are there no competent muslim professors in UI, OAU,and even FUNAAB that can be VCs? When will that happen in these completely christianized Federal institutions?
If I may ask them again?
Are there also no competent muslim personnels that can be directors in all of these Federal owned research institutes in ibadan? Muslim has never been deemed fit to hold sway at the topmost as there are limitations to highest post muslims(very minute in number) can attain in such institutes, a tactic tailored towards shutting them out of the headship of those places.
When has any muslim held sway, temporarily or permanently,in;
Forestry Research institute of Nigeria (FRIN),
Cocoa Research institute of Nigeria (CRIN),
National Horticultural Research institute (NIHORT),
National Centre for Genetic research and biotechnology development,
Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER),
Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T),
Federal college of Forestry, IBADAN etc.
It should be noted that all these Federal establishment have been completely shut out of Muslims’ reach. The number of muslim staff in there is infinitesimal. Those places are as good as being called christian establishments as the retiring christian staff fix their children in there to replace them, certificated or not(it can be verified),and no recruiting advert is ever placed out, everything is seclusively done.
There are certain week days in these Institutes that are assigned for full blown christian services within the work hours,,a must for all christian staff.Anybody having a duty there on these days will have to wait till after the service.
Entering their offices,you will be welcomed with series of church pamphlets,on the tables,on the walls, and they won’t even shy away from extending one to you(especially seeing you as a muslim) as part of your official engagements.
If these unsatisfied christian bigots are now gnashing teeth on the appointment of Prof WAHAB EGBEWOLE, SAN, the 6th muslim UNILORIN VC out of 11, then what else can they not do in swiping off muslims in the entire federal workforce in south west?
Let me just stop this table shaking for now.
